Coral Needs No Painter's Brush....

Coral reefs are invaluable in our world. They're called the rain forest of the sea. Though coral comes in all colors, we have the color "coral" which gets its inspiration from sea coral.   Do you own any coral?   The color looks good on every skin type and can be from orange coral to pink coral. Have you been snorkeling on any coral reef?   Do you have any in your closet or home?  The Post's title comes from a poem I like by George Walter Thornbury.
Also, a shout out to Donna Jenkins and her lovely blog for the FAB give-away I won!! Click here for her blog and Etsy shop! I'll post photos and more info tomorrow.

Oh I do love coral, And the last picture is what always comes to mind when I think of that color.
Sunsets that are brilliant always show the purest color of coral...I think.
Thanks for the beautiful pictures.
Have a good one!

I love coral! You're right - it is flattering to most women. I once had a landlady who had a summer house on Jupiter Island, in Florida. We were invited down each winter. In her living room was a large mirror and one evening she told me that it was tinted pink, and that the lights in all her bedrooms were pale pink - because when her female guests looked at themselves in the mirror she wanted them to feel good about themselves, and the little bit of pink made them all look prettier. I loved that!

MY ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS IN CAPS:

Do you own any coral? NO, BUT AM FASCINATED BY IT.

The color looks good on every skin type and can be from orange coral to pink coral. GLAD TO KNOW--I SHALL TRY IT OUT.

Have you been snorkeling on any coral reef? NO, I DON'T DO "UNDERWATER" WELL--WHAT ABOUT SHARKS???

Do you have any in your closet or home? NOW THAT I THINK OF IT, NO...MUST REMEDY. THANKS FOR THE POST! c

Love the first picture today! Not sure if it is the coral color or the combination of it and the green...but it just "draws" me right into that room! Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing your pics and post from the give-away you won!

And...as always...thanks for stopping my, Janean. You are a sweetheart. I wish I could say such meaningful things as you do...in as few words as you do. How do you do that?
